The UGC funded project,“Self-Help Groups in Kerala: A Study in Economic Sociology” of the School of Social Sciences (SSS), Mahatma Gandhi University invites application for the post of Research Assistant on contract basis for a period of one year or the end of the project period, whichever is earlier.

Job Description: To undertake fieldwork, collection of archival and secondary sources and transcribing field notes.

Who can apply? The applicant should be a postgraduate, preferably MPhil in Social Sciences. Working experience in SPSS (Statistical package) and fluency in Malayalam required.

Age limit: 35 years

Eligibility criteria remaining the same, preference will be given to woman candidates.
