Applications are invited to the post of Project Fellow to work under UGC-Special Assistance Programme (UGC-SAP-DRS-II) in the Department of History, Pondicherry University

No of Fellowships : TWO

 Category : Temporary 

Salary Amount : Rs. 16800/- per month (consolidated) 

Duration of the Project : Till 31.03. 2020 

Requisite qualifications : M.A. in History with minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) or M.Phil 

Age : Below 40 years (at the time of appointment)  

The fellowship is purely temporary and the candidate would be relieved on completion of the SAP programme. The candidate should not seek any permanent job in Pondicherry University on the basis of this service. Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Director (Accounts)- CA/ICWA/CFA/ACS/MBA (First Class) with specialization in Finance from a recognized University
• Assistant Director (Marketing)- First Class Degree from a recognized University/Institution. First Class Post Graduate Degree/ two year Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Business Management, Business Administration with specialization in Marketing/Foreign Trade from a recognized University/Institution
• Assistant Director (Cyber Security& Marketing)- 1st Class B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Electronics & Communication/ Applied Electronics & Instrumentation from a recognized University with 4 years experience in IT Infrastructure Management, Linux & Windows Server Administration, Networking, Database Administration, Unified Threat Management (UTM) and IT/Data Security (Servers & Software) or 1st Class Masters Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science with 4 years experience in IT infrastructure Management, Linux & Windows Server Administration, Networking, Database Administration, Unified Threat Management (UTM) and IT/Data Security (Servers & Software)
• Senior Field Officer- Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Forestry from a recognized University with minimum 6 OGPA out of 10 or M.Sc in Botany with first class (60%) from a recognized University
• Assistant Library & Information Officer- Post graduate Degree from a recognized University. Degree in Library Science from a recognized University. Five years experience in Library work in a College/University/Govt. Library in any other Institution of repute
